SiteInspire

I’m going to gush a bit now, SiteInspire is the web design showcase I’ve been dreaming of! It’s a wonderful source of inspiration and very easy to browse because the categories are clearly labelled. If you create an account you also have the option of making your own collections too, a really useful feature. Creator Daniel Howells clearly has excellent taste, the standard of work is very good (and he’s featured a few of our sites already, including the Jordans Cereals site).
Pound Regular

As my friend Mat put it ‘Potato-print chunkiness’. Pound regular available from MyFonts.
Video stars

These are so familar yet it’s probably been a good decade since I last saw handwritten labels on VHS. Then I realised these aren’t photographs, they’re drawings, and that makes them even more fantastic. Drawings by Hollis Brown Thorton found on ffffound
I thought I loved you

Poster for a Wes Anderson film festival by student Alex Cornell. Lovely.
In the park

We took ChloĆ© to the park today with her new super squeaky rugby ball. We hadn’t been for a while because she’s been recovering from a spay op, so it was lovely to see her bouncing around, back to her normal self.
